Cable Locator YT-73137 is a wiring inspection and locating device. It is used to determine the route of a cable in a wall, identify a network cable in a server room, locate a break in a car's electrical system, verify the order of connections in an RJ-45 cable, and check the condition of a telephone line.
It consists of two devices: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is connected to the cable being searched for, to then transmit a signal with a frequency known to the receiver when the SCAN function is activated.
