Gripping, alignment and installation are everyday jobs in the electrical, motor and plumbing trades.
Knipex primarily manufactures the forged and oil-hardened snipe nose side cutting pliers for classic tasks for pliers, such as gripping and holding components.
There is a second function that is useful for assembly work. The induction hardened cutting edges of these snipe nose side cutting pliers produce an accurate bite type cut. The Knipex 26 15 200 can even be used to cut hard wire.
Inherently stable when twisted – particularly strong when cutting
The precision tips made of vanadium electric steel are elastic and stable when twisted. This allows the manual force deployed to be well measured, but to be used forcefully where necessary. The cutting edges are positioned near the joint which is advantageous for the transmission of force. The high cutting capacities achieved of Ø 3.2 mm (medium-hard wire) and Ø 2.2 mm (hard wire) are impressive. With their multi-component grips, the pliers sit comfortably in the hand.
Saves dismantling parts that would otherwise be in the way when working
The very long tips of the Knipex snipe nose side cutting pliers make it possible to grip low-lying components accurately and powerfully. This can render the dismantling of parts on an engine or plumbing installation unnecessary, for example when attaching a hose onto a difficult to reach nozzle. The snipe nose side cutting pliers are in their element here. The quality chrome plating offers good corrosion resistance where the pliers are exposed to moisture, as in plumbing work.
