High cutting performance – suitable for cutting copper cables as well as hard wires
The combination pliers from Knipex cut multi-strand copper cables up to Ø 10 mm, medium-hard wire up to Ø 3.1 mm and even hard wire (up to approx. 46 HRC) up to Ø 2 mm. Even thick cables (up to 16 mm²) can be easily inserted into and cut with the pliers. Thanks to a hardness of approx. 60 HRC, the wear of the cutting edges remains minimal even with intensive use.
Forged from special tool steel and then oil hardened
The Knipex 03 02 160 combination pliers are forged from special tool steel as well as receiving multi-stage oil hardening and black atramentising for corrosion protection. Careful machining, quenching and tempering are the basis of the long and reliable tool life, typical for Knipex, for a wide variety of applications. With the multi-component grips on the handles, they rest securely in the hand.
